OverviewIn BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 1.6 The BlackBerry Enterprise Server does not update the new mailbox location until a scan of the Global Address List has been completed. The BlackBerry Enterprise Server looks through the Global Address List (GAL) for updated information on a user′s mailbox. Stopping and restarting the BlackBerry Enterprise Server service forces a Scan GAL. In BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 2.0 The BlackBerry Enterprise Server initiates a Scan GAL every 15 - 30 minutes. Note: This information assumes that directory
replication has occurred. In the event that it requires 30 minutes
for a new mailbox location to be reflected in the GAL, then it will
take 30 minutes for email to be redirected to the handheld. |
