Environment
OverviewYou set a user′s Password Pattern Checks IT policy to 2 and send an email activation password from the Microsoft Management Console (MMC). The email is sent without a password. You change the user to a new IT policy without that setting and try to send an email activation password again. The email is still sent without a password. CauseThe MMC is checking a previously cached IT policy. The MMC does not automatically update an IT policy when a change occurs. ResolutionInstall BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.0 Service Pack 1. WorkaroundAfter setting the IT policy change, close and reopen the MMC to update the IT policy. |
