OverviewImportant: Restarting certain BlackBerry Enterprise Server services will delay email message delivery to BlackBerry smartphones. For information on delays in email message delivery when the BlackBerry Enterprise Server services is restarted, see KB04789. To start or stop the BlackBerry services, complete the following in sequence:
After starting or stopping the BlackBerry services, close BlackBerry Manager. Note: The BlackBerry Enterprise Server services can also be started by clicking the Administrative Tools > Services drop-down list. The BlackBerry services must be stopped or started in the specified order, to reduce the number of errors that appear in the Microsoft® Windows® Event Viewer Application Log. |
